Ironvale started in 1997 as a six-person concrete crew working out of a leased yard on Harrisburg Boulevard. The first contract was a loading dock in the East End; the client still builds with us. We grew the way good contractors grow — by self-performing the work that controls the schedule and hiring superintendents better than the ones we had.
Today we run commercial, industrial and residential divisions from offices in Houston and Dallas–Fort Worth, with crews standing in Austin and San Antonio. The model has not changed: own the concrete, own the schedule, put one accountable superintendent on the fence line and give the owner a number that survives the job.
